It's very dangerous to wait... She might come out of heat in August-Septemb=
er yes (not nearly within 4 weeks)... but she might have died or be very we=
ak by then through bone marrow depression (estrogen-intoxication). Sounds =
like your vets compare ferrets to dogs...

You should really INSIST on the proligestone-injection if you want her to l=
ive! And then afterwards let her spay...
I would say you'd have to insist on spaying immediately, but this too can b=
e dangerous when being done by a non-experienced vet. =

I will look if I can find a ferret-vet in Switzerland and I'll let you know=
if I find one!
