I had a whole female ferret here in the UK and what you say Mike is correct=
. She remained in heat and was very ill before I found a knowledgeable vet =
who knew to give her a hormone injection. She was too far into heat to all=
ow a vasectomised male near her, we tried.Mary UKI've never had to deal wit=
h a whole female ferret, but everything I've heard and read says she will s=
tay in heat until bred or given hormones or a vasectomized male is used to =
take her out. Waiting for this to happen on its own IS dangerous. Sounds =
like the vets there don't know ferrets? Not sure what "B=E4rli" is. Looks l=
ike the text of your post was slightly corrupt.mike
