Hi Paty,

UNless ferrets are different in your part of the world, they do NOT cycle =

in and out of heat like cats! The are INDUCED OVULATORS-- which means they=

STAY in HEAT until they are bred.

This is why the injectible hormone or the jill jab is required. Allowing =

your ferret to remain in estrus will cause a condition called aplastic =

anemia to occur. Please consult with your veterinarians again. Are they =

indeed ferret knowledgeable?
