Subject: Another Revolution question

My fiance picked up the Revolution for the fuzzies today and as we were putting the
solution on them I thought I'd look at the weight and see which we were getting---
since recent posts discussed cat Revolution (5-15lbs) as opposed to kitten
Revolution (0-5lbs). Well, sure enough, the Revolution they gave us was for kittens
0-5lbs.

We had already put it on 3 of the 4 so went ahead and put it on the other one as
well. But my question is this: Is that going to help them with ear mites (they've
returned, and now I'm wondering if it's the kitten Revolution that we got last time
too!), and if we may need to get more of the kitten Revolution and re-dose
immediately? Or, do we just follow the protocol of dosing again in 3 weeks and
then monthly afterwards??

I'm really thinking at this point that perhaps the mites came back because the last
batch we got were for kittens, too. The gal at the desk used what they had in the
computer from last time to give us the stuff this time. We did notice last time that
the little plastic container had changed (we go in every month and buy them, though
not by the box full), and the container two months ago was green, whereas the last
time and this time was white. So they got the kitten kind last time as well---for
sure.

So... leave things 'as is' or get more/different?? The dosage our vet has us give is
two drops on the smaller ferts (roughly 1.5lbs each), and the remainder divided
between the two boys (3.5 lbs and almost 4lbs). This time, because of the posts we
read, we split one container between the girls and put one each on the boys. Does
that sound right, even though it was kitten and not cat Revolution.

Hope this post wasn't too confusing. Thanks in advance for your help.
