You don't mention how experienced with ferrets your Vet is.

Any additional info you can give on Noodles condition would help, do you suspect he may have gotten into something recently, any thing he may have chewed on or injested ...
Any access to household cleaners, things like that ...

Right now supportive care is essential,
You need to get food into him and using the Gerber's or a Duck soup is your best bet.
Most ferrets will eat a puree of their own kibble mixed in a blender with some water to a thin paste.
Warm it slightly in the micro (only a few seconds) and add some
FerretVite and FerretTone.
Let him lick it off your finger until he gets used to the taste and texture.
Try to get him to eat every four to five hours if you can, the more the better.
Even the FerretVite (avail at pet stores) or a Nutrical product will help keep his energy levels up if he is not eating.
