I would say that a glucose of 89 mg/dL is not indicative of insulinoma. However, readings can change and you can test two times not too far apart and come up with a pretty wide variation between the two. So a repeat of this test would be a good idea.
I've never had insulin levels tested. I understand that insulin levels may be relatively normal even with low glucose levels caused by an insulinoma.
