Could low lactose cat milk (ingredients: milk and milk derivatives,
derivatives of vegetable origin, minerals) cause mucus in the lungs? I hav=
e
been giving Reno cat milk 2 or 3 times to distract him while giving
injections and to rehydrate him at the same time and then he developed a
cough. He was wheezing and having laboured breathing and then was coughing=

and to me it sounded like fluid in the lungs. So Sunday night I gave him
1mg frusemide because he looked *very* ill and last night he started
coughing and I gave him another 1mg frusemide and in the middle of the nigh=
t
he had another episode so I waited for about half an hour until I just
couldn't leave him like that anymore and gave him another 1mg. Took him to=

the vets and he started coughing there and my vet thought it may just be
mucus. So I'm wondering if cat milk could have caused mucus, I've never ha=
d
this happen ever before.
