The Sorbitol in Glucerna can cause diarrhea in some ferrets.
I SEEM to recall one (ONLY one, I think) with a strange and concerning blood result (fatty blood if I recall right) that was postulated (i.e. actual cause unknown) to perhaps be related to Glucerna. I don't know if more was discovered on that score, but would love a follow-up if more is known or a correction if I am mis-remembering.
Uli, this time of year there are so many respiratory infections... Of course, other causes are possible.
