I took Bear to the vet today. All his test came back normal. (poo test,
blood test) My vet strongly believes it is a mild case of IBD. He is going to
give him a round of clavomox and wanted to start him on pred. 1ml
My question was, I have herd that long term dosages of pred can be harmful.
With having IBD and he is only 2, is this safe for him? Is 1 ml to high of a
dose? Oh, I also got the liquid pred.
I want this to help him, but not want to set him up for something bad in the
future. What should I look for that are side affects of the pred. ?
