Subject: Kennel Cough, can ferrets get it

Today I also took my little dog, shelby to the vet, she has been coughing
and wheezing. We found out she has kennel cough, which is a type of influenza (I
think thats the right spelling)
Now my question is, I know ferrets can get the flu from us and give it to
us. Is this the same strain of flu that a ferret can contract?
