I've just experienced this with my ferret. He had adrenal surgery two
months ago and just in the last week I've gotten him switched back
completely to his Totally Ferret. It takes a little while, but if you're
patient, he should come around. The trick is to gradually add in and taper=

off. I was feeding him soft food four times a day. I started adding in
pounded up Totally Ferret (so that it's itsy bitsy pieces so he wouldn't
notice) to his soft food. Then every other week or so (depending on the
progress the ferret is making), I tapered the feedings down by one. Went t=
o
3, then 2, then 1, then finally off. While gradually pounding the pieces
into not quite as tiny of pieces and mixing it into the feedings. As I
tapered down, I started replacing his soft feedings with moistened (just a
little water added) Totally Ferret. I still give him the moistened Totally=

Ferret once or twice a day, but I have also noticed that he's eating it on
his own too.

So what worked for me was, like I said, the gradually adding in of the hard=

stuff and tapering down of the soft stuff; however, most importantly, you'v=
e
got to be patient and go at your ferrets pace. I'm not saying it will work=

for every ferret, but I do have a pretty stubborn ferret. lol!

Hope you can get him back to his regular diet. Having to hand feed them
constantly can get tiresome after a while.

<<<I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get Noodle to
eat his dry food again. He's been on the duck soup since the beginning
of the month and I have been trying to get him to eat his dry food, but
he just won't eat. I mix some in with his duck soup mixture and he just
eats around them. I've put dry food in a bowl and put a little liquid on
it and he just leaves it there. I'm not sure of what else to do....or if
maybe it just takes a while to get him to change back over again.>>>
