Hi, Robert,
Our vet in NC did every time we took in a rescue with
an unknown history. He would do a total of two shots,
not the three he'd do with a kit.
The usual disclaimer applies: I am not a vet. I'm
just reporting what one good ferret vet did for the
rescues we took in, whether we subsequently adopted
them out or, in a few cases, not.
