Still waiting for replies.

I am curious if this may be what is being seen:

PPM =

=A0=A0Persistent pupillary membranes (PPM) are blood vessel remnants in the=
anterior (forward) chamber of the eye which fail to regress normally in th=
e neonatal period. These strands may bridge from iris to iris, iris to corn=
ea, iris to lens, or form a sheet of tissue in the anterior chamber. The la=
st 3 forms pose the greatest threat to vision and when severe, vision impai=
rment or blindness may occur. The membranes appear to be white, gray, or pi=
gmented, and do not usually involve >25% of the corneal surface. There is n=
o effective treatment for PPM.

but I do not know.

It DOES occur in ferrets:

The abstract is beyond me, but i hope to understand it better when I get ti=
me to wade through it with a veterinary dictionary.
