We've been there. You are right that the Tresaderm was not appreciated, but it really worked and managed to get rid of a very persistent fungal ear infection in the female we had with that problem. I recall she used to cringe when we would open the fridge to get it but it sure did the job for her and once she finally was rid of her infection she never had that problem again despite living to an advanced age.
