Hi, everyone,

A better choice than the baby food mix is Bob Church's
Chicken Gravy: very high protein, high fat, high
calorie. It has kept many a critically ill ferret
going for us. Pertwee came to love the stuff and I am
convinced it played a part in his amazing recovery.
Our vet believes in it as well.

In Molly's case, since she's (at least for the moment)
diabetic you may want to leave out the honey and/or
reduce the nutrical. I'd get that blood glucose
rechecked as the high blood sugar may have been
transient .

I highly recommend Pam Sessoms' pressure cooker method
over the original recipe. Bob Chuch likes it as well
and it does make the Gravy much, much easier to
prepare.

All the best,
Caity and the fantastic five
