I am not a vet, but nearly any ferret owner can tell you this. Ferrets
don't require parvo shots, just rabies and distemper. Rabies comes at 14
weeks and distemper comes at 6 weeks, usually given by the breeder, at 9
weeks and at 12 weeks. Missing the distemper by a week or three causes
no particular problems. Either your vet is giving them a shot they don't
need or you misunderstood him.
