With the bands and a likely positive response to skipping a dose of
pred and giving the sulfatrim, plus diarrhea overnight, I'd seriously
consider an acute pancreatitis from a bacterial source here. Others
have had suddenly-diabetic, very sick, ferrets turn around on Baytril,
so maybe yours is going to be a similar case. It sounds like you are
on the right track. Watch those blood sugars! Will watch for
updates.
