Thank you, Mary Lee, for writing such nice things about Noodle and
ourselves.

---- surprised us by showing up at the vet just to see Noodle. We
thought that was just simply amazing.......and she did not come empty
handed either. She brought vitamins, supplements and treats for Noodle,
too. We couldn't believe that someone we never met had done something
like this! The staff at the office said that you take very good care of
your animals, too, ----.........and I have to say that I totally
believe them. We would like to thank you and everyone on this list who
have been so supportive during everything we've been going through with
Noodle. We couldn't have done it without you all..........and I'm saying
this with sincere honesty. We were complete basket cases when we first
got Noodle's diagnosis but with all of the advice and support we have
gotten from everyone in this group we have been able to get through these
difficult times a little easier.

Now, here's the report on Noodle. His white blood count went up from
13,000 on his last last visit to 25,000 this visit. His antibiotic was
changed from the amoxicillin and metronidazole to Enrofloxacin. He's
still on pepcid and prednisolone too. The doctor felt that his spleen
had shrunk some but the mass was still the same size - about the size of
a grape. He feels that it is a lymph node that supplies blood to the
intestine that is enlarged and the normal size would be about the size of
a pea - so this is not something that can be removed. He wants to do a
biopsy so that he can find out exactly what it is he is treating and
treat it accordingly. It does not need to be done immediately since
Noodle appears to be staying the same and not getting worse... in a
couple of weeks we will have the the biopsy.
Hopefully this will be the final step in getting Noodle better.

Thanks again for all of the help. I'm so glad that I found this group!
Have a great week!
Debbie;o)
