Hi Mike,
I just printed out your page on melatonin implants but haven't read it
through yet---question: what harm if any is caused by giving liquid
melatonin or getting the implants done on a NON adrenal ferret? Can it be
used as a preventative measure?
I mentioned the implants to our regular non emergency vet several months ago
and she sorta dismissed the entire idea. She also doesn''t like to remove
the right adrenal and since I have a 4 year old that has thinnning tail hair
(only the tail base, no vulva swelling yet) I want to jump in with both
feet. Should she be adrenal, I'll take her to our emergency vet at her
private practice but was wondering if melatonin can be used as a
preventative.
Thanks :-)
