Hello all. On to my next question about my ferret Cody. We took an x-ray today at the vet and his heart looked slightly abnormal (rounder) and the vet heard a grade one heart mumur. The vet I work for (different than the one I saw today. The ones I work with are not too ferret savy. the vet I saw today has much more experience with them) is going to do an ultrasound and possibly an echo (we have a nice new ultrasound and echo machine!). I was just curois was kinds of experience people have had with this, just so my vets and I know where to proceed with Cody. Cody's PCV is normal, but he is slightly pale and kind a "slower" little guy if you know what I mean, which could be explained by heart problems. Any advice people have on this stuff would be great. I plan on searching the archives next. For those who don't know about Cody, we are also looking into insulinoma, though right now his glucose seems normal (100). Thanks in advance!
