I have a little female that will turn two years old in September. She had adrenal surgery last week along with one of her cage mates. She had the classic losing fur, etc. I have ten ferrets and they have had bouts of diarrhea since Oct. Been on every kind of antibiotic out there. We stopped hers because at first thought drug reaction. She lost patches of fur, constant itching, weight loss. Now after the surgery she is still itching and I can't get her to gain weight. I see her in her food bowl but she balks at her "extra" feedings of baby food or Nutrical. I've also noticed she shivers when I pick her up. She licks my face but shivers. I don't notice it so much when she is walking around. She plays like she feels ok but not as long. The shivers may be from when she was getting the meds. All of them reached the point they would see me reaching and run. Do her symptoms match anything else???
