A question for Dr. Murray. In looking at Revolution for fleas, ticks, etc.=
, we are looking at it for Heartworm preventation. We live in South Caroli=
na, thus have a serious concern about parasites including mosquitoes, fire =
ants, etc..

In looking at previous advice postings, we approached our local vet. This =
is not a Ferret knowledgeable vet, but is very eager to learn. He had a co=
ncern with using the Revolution 5-15 lb. for cats versus the Revolution 0-5=
lbs. for kittens. He is concerned with the increase from 15mg. Selmectin =
(sp) in the kitten to 45mg. Selmectin in the cat. He thought that seemed l=
ike a huge increase for an animal the size of a ferret. What do you sugges=
t I tell him to answer his concern?
