Hi Carol,
Assuming Jasper is healthy overall,
then remove the kidney! Removing the
kidney is actually a straight forward, usually
quick and easy surgery to do.
If it is actually the adrenal gland instead of the kidney,
then remove the adrenal gland.
The lick smacking is usually abdominal discomfort,
likely indicating either ulcers in his stomach/ small
intestine or the tumor is putting pressure on the GI tract.
Another reason to do surgery (and Carafate).
