Hi. My name is Anna, and I am the proud owner of 3 ferrets now. My oldest one Wish (6yrs) however has insulinoma. The vet said that it's likely that he has lymphnosarcoma (sp)as she noticed the glands are enlarged, and that it won't be long until he passes. He is deaf, and blind, but still runs and plays (Just not the same as a healthy ferret) and is happy. He can't go for walks, or walk too much in general seeing as it causes seizures. He is on Prednisone 1.25 cc 2x a day, as well as a food called a/d. It's a pureed food that helps him with balancing his glucose levels (which works wonderfully, but because of the softness, it causes him to have the runs.)as well as the 8 in 1 ferret hard food. I was wondering if there is anything else that I can give him to calm his seizures. It's a long shot, but I thought I'd try to find something that could help him a little bit more. He's an extremely sweet boy, and I don't want to give up trying! (if only they could live forever.)

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Anna, Wish, Guus, Oskar.
