hi my name is sue. i have a seven month old ferret named baily. there are the best of pets.i've taken him to the vet today because he is not eating or drinking anything and has a fever.he's so lethargic, it breaks my heart to see him this way. the vet has prescribe an antibotic for him enrofloxcin. to be given every 12 hours. he won't eat anything but i can manage to get him to drink a little from a syringe full of water. it seems like such an effort for him to drink even.he has a fever of 42 degrees which he says is high for a ferret. i offer him food and water every two to three hours a days.he's so weak and i'm so scared that he will die.i live in london ontario canada.we have no vets around here if you only imagine, that know very much about ferrets. they have to be the best pets ever! if anyone has any suggestions at all i'm open to all who could possibly help my sick little man.please someone help me!!!!
