Subject: Insulinoma ?, how long is life after diagnosis

I talked to my vet this evening and he did a chem panel and said everything
looked good. We are going to try the pred for a while, plus the carafate. He
believes Al may have developed an ulcer through all of this.
I have herd once diagnosed with Insulinoma their life span is not very long,
like a year to a year and half.
What is the life span after diagosis?
