Labs came back saying it wasn't Actinomyces but Bacteroides sp. I searched the FHL
archives but couldn't find anything on this. Apparently Amoxicillin is still the
medication of choice, which is great because she actually sits up and begs for it.
Can anyone here tell me what Bacteroides sp is and perhaps how she would
have gotten it so I can ensure that none of the others get it. Is it a recurrent type of
thing like Actinomyces?

Thanks,
Brandy and Meeka
