It's been a long time since my last post, though I'm not complaining...just=
wishing I wasn't making this one. Kira is 4 years old, spayed, and a MF f=
erret. You may remember the monster hairball she puked up a year or so ago=
(the pic is still in her album on here). Kira is perfectly normal, eats a=
nd drinks well, plays constantly, no hair loss, just wonderfully soft and b=
eautiful. Kira and Lou-Lou were wrestling on the kitchen floor when I saw =
Kira on her back pinned under Lou-Lou when I saw it. I immediatley picked =
her up and checked her, and saw that the lower portion of her vaginal area =
(like if you were on your back, the area closest to your rectum) was swolle=
n. I am trying to remain calm. I checked some past posts and came across =
one from June of '04 and saw a pic that kinda looked like how she looks. H=

e what to do. The vet we have is not very ferret knowledgeable, and though=
he tries, I just don't think I'd be comfortable having him take care of th=
is if he's not that experienced. All three of my babies have never had any=
thing seriously wrong with them before, so needless to say I'm upset. I li=
ve in Bowling Green, Kentucky and would travel any distance to take care of=
my baby girl if someone could suggest a knowledgeable vet, and what I need=
to do from here. When Brandon gets home from work, I will try to post a p=
icture of her vulva in her album and let you all know. (I need his help wi=
th the camcorder...it takes pictures) Thank you all so much again for lett=
ing me rant. I don't know what I'd do without you.
