Yep. Probably adrenal, a tumor, and it'll probably need to come out. Very common
in ferrets at pretty much any age. It should be a fairly simple operation (for an
experienced ferret vet). The ones I've had have run $300-$400 dollars, but that
depends on the vet and the area, and I think they're edging up. Some vets like to
wait, some don't. I like to be pretty aggressive with these and get a vet to operate
ASAP, especially if they're otherwise healthy, as yours is. After all, cancer doesn't go
away--it spreads. You probably aren't too far from a good vet, either. I can contact
someone who knows a good one in Bloomington, IN if it turns out that you need it,
but there's probably something a lot closer. Like Louisville or Nashville.
