I did for Kodo. The numbers were amazing. He
typically weighed around 1500g in the summer (not
quite 3.5 lbs.) and around 2100g (over 4.5 lbs.) in
the winter. Kodo was one big boy all the time :) I
don't mean fat (OK, he was fat in the winter) but just
plain long and large in every respect.

No, that's not quite 30% but it is a very visible
difference.

Romana, our smallest ferret, used to get down to about
400g in the summer and would close in on 600g in the
winter, so she lost almost a full third of her weight.
She doesn't ever get that thin now in her senior
years, but she's still not much over a pound in the
summer.
