Sunny came back from third vets office with new regime of meds and new info.

First...many bubbles showed up on x-rays. This is gas. This explains the
knashing teeth and distension, and discomfort, and limited eating. Very important
to see this.

Second...the carafate was to be given 20 minutes before any food or other
meds. I was not doing that. It needs to coat the stomach.

Third...the vet added Metoclopramide .55cc twice a day. This is to help
with the gas and discomfort. It is not to be given if there was any vomiting or
if there is any vomiting. This was added after seeing the x-rays.

The blood tests were normal.

I was literally screaming in pain in order to move for several weeks. I
raised Sunny since he was about four weeks old. His eyes were not opened yet. It is
possible he stressed out and ulcerated over my screams or pain. No other
changes occured.

I hope I am not sending this twice. It is exhausting to wake up every two
hours.

We changed to a different antibiotic...Clavamox...He HATES it. I cannot hide
the taste. But now that I have started it, I have to keep going.

Thank you for the well wishes. We really discussed puttting him to sleep, he
was so bad. And as you all know...I will most likely be syringe feeding him
for 8 weeks to make sure he is getting his food.
