So my vet is puzzled and really no help anymore. Still dealing with this chronic diarrhea. The stools vary in amount of liquid in them but tend to be pale and seedy-solid with additional fluid/mucous accompanying the stool. He eats a little bit of cooked chicken with his totally ferret so the color and smell tend to be consistant with that mix.
He has me on 3 different antibiotics/fungicides at once. Amoxicillin/Metrodiazonole/Ketoconazole. No effect to his appetite or diarrhea for over a week now.
He wants surgury but my ferret is too old and weak for that.

Could this be ECE in some form? And all this antibiotics are just stripping his natural healthy bacteria from digesting his food now?
His attitude and behavior is way up from what it was at the beginning of this whole ordeal when he was lethargic and wobbly. But the loose stool persists and his weight seems the same overall but some days he feels heavy, other days he feels thin.
