His levels have always, for the last 4 years, floated around 60. his last check gave 62...but he has never been officially diagnosed with it and given the fights we have trying to administer preds, it was advised not to give unless any symptoms were seen. Well, I have plenty of pred for my ferrets but don't know if it is time to start up on that along with the string of other meds. He has not chronically shown any definitive isulinomic symptoms so i worry about giving pred just yet.

My vet had not heard of giving yogurt to a ferret but said after the med course, he could prescribe a probiotic. But giving all at once felt futile to him.
