I started giving my babies melatonin mixed into their daily home cooked tre=
at almost 3 weeks ago. At that time, my boy Cheese was starting to get a bi=
t of a rat tail, and I was afraid he was going adrenal again. He's been pre=
tty fluffy since his left adrenal surgery almost 18 months ago at age 3. S=
ince they started on melatonin his tail has filled in completely, thick and=
full and soft. It's not as fluffy as his winter tail and maybe it was all=
only the spring coat change anyway, but he seems to look and feel marvelou=
s. I keep their room completely darkened and they have a nest built under =
their futon that is dark as night for their daytime sleep too. My two youn=
g girls are still winter fluffy, but they may still change coats yet. My o=
ther boy has changed his coat and it's come in full and soft, just not as t=
hick and long. My older girl who has also had left adrenal surgery about a=
year ago seems to have blown her coat and her fur is beautiful. All are f=
ull of energy and the happiest little campers. I'm so lucky. I honestly th=
ink the melatonin is giving them the =

proper sleep necessary to control the adrenal disease. If I can keep the y=
ounger 3 from ever getting it, I will be out in the streets weasel dancing =
myself! =
