Subject: Update on Noodle

This is just an update on my little guy, Noodle. He will be going in for
a biopsy next Thursday, April 28th. This way the doctor will know
exactly what it is he is treating. On his last visit, two weeks ago, his
WBC had gone from 13,000 to 25,000. The doctor had said that he thought
the size of his spleen had reduced in size slightly but he still had the
mass that was about the size of a grape. He seemed to think the mass was
the node/gland that supplied blood to the intestine and that should be
the size of a pea. This is when he suggested we have a biopsy done. He
had also changed his antibiotic at that time to enrofloxacin - along with
the prednisolone and pepcid. He has shown an improvement since the
change in the meds - but I guess the doctor still thinks that a biopsy is
the best route to take...........so that's what we're doing next week.
I'm nervous about it.......I hope he does okay.
