You can give a ferret "non lactose" milk, but why bother. The energy is
in the butter fat. Regular milk will usually cause diarhea or a belly
ache. Some heavy whipping cream will too some times with some ferrets.
If you have a problem, get a bottle of Lactaide and crush 4 tablets and
mix it into a half pint of heavy whipping. I am lactose intolerant so I
keep lactase (Lactaide)tablets around the house. I can't even eat ice
cream unless I take a couple pills or I'll have gas and diarhea. I am
not a vet.
