I just got my FerretDepot catalog yesterday and I saw a Marshall's product called Probiotic in it. The description said the active ingredient was Lactobacilus Acidophilus, which is exactly what we were talking about being in yogurt and available as a supplement for humans with yeast problems. I am curious to know exactly what the ingrediants in Probiotic are and the level of active cultures, and how they compare to the human grade supplements available at health food stores. I would assume for Marshall's to be selling this product, that it has tested safe on their ferrets, which would lead me to believe that L.Acidophilus in general would be tolerated (at what level would then be the question) and have some positive effect.
