I hope that I'm doing this right as I've never contributed photos here
before. I took two digital close ups of a ferrets eyes. They have been thickening
curiously for a very long time. Tissue has even protruded from underneath
looking like tiny growths. I so wish I had been able to take photos before he
was treated. You have to click on each photo to be able to see the actual lids
and tissue. Read the captions as well because it tells you the status of the
animal and treatment. His eyes are down 1/3 - 1/4 of what they were now. He
went to one vet who was not sure what it was, but said at onset that it looked
like benign little growths from the actual lash area and it's tiny oil glands
if I remember right. However, this ferret began exhibiting other health
problems after the fact and running right along parallel to his state of health
they enlarged. It was soon apparent that tissue was protruding out from under
the lids. A second vet contributed it to his current dx (that is disclosed in
the album comments)
