Can ferrets get disc disease? Since he can walk if I support his hind end, it makes me wonder. When I took my pug to the specialist, he said that sometimes with disc disease (in dogs) if you put them on pred, it allows the disc to somewhat heal and the healing results can be permanent (unfortunately they were not for my Pinky). We couldn't do that right now since he just had surgery, but we could in a while. Harry has alot to deal with, his cardiomyopathy, IBD, adrenal, and now this..... if he felt ok I would feel ok. But he is hiding and not wanting to interact. He normally loves to be held on his back in the crook of my arm and carried for long times. And give kisses. he will do neither. I am praying that time will fix this. Thanks, and by the way, I hope you are doing much better after all you went through the past year!
