Tonight I found my Jasmine (6 years, spayed) on the stairs. She didn't wan=
t
to move or was too weak to move, she was limp, cold to the touch and looks
anaemic (pale gums). She'll be going to the vets first thing in the mornin=
g
With Reno dying of ADV just a month ago, and Jasmine having pretty much
the same symptoms, I'm not very positive right now. At the moment I would
like to know whether anaemia can make ferrets feel cold? Or are there othe=
r
things that can do this? I mean she is not shivering or anything, but when=

I hold her, her body feels very cool. My Tara felt like that and she had
hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and very probably a saddle thrombus. Jasmine
ate tonight when I hand fed her, not a huge amount but an okay amount. I
still saw her eat yesterday and she was 100% normal yesterday and was still=

okay this morning so this has come on suddenly.
