Pursestring is a a very simple procedure. There are simply a few stitches to hold the rectum more closed and give it a chance to return to a tighter configuration. It may be that this time the tightness was gotten wrong or the stitches came out too fast, or perhaps a more serious procedure is needed. Also, what have you been feeding because if the diet is causing stools that are too loose that can cause the prolapse because there is nothing to contract against.
