Hi Petra,

I'm not Mike, and I'm sure that he or someone else will address the melaton=
in-issue specifically.
We don't have melatonin-implants where I live (yet?) but ferrets over here =
get neutered later than the average ferret in the US, so we do have lots of=
experience with unneutered males...
And I can tell you one thing: a whole male can cause a lot of stress in oth=
er ferrets, both male and female. I have even heard of many cases of Helic=
obacter because of a whole male in the house. My advice is to keep them se=
parated as much as you can. =

Regards,
Wendy
