Our vet recommends Milk Thistle for liver support in our maintenance
recipe for the entire group and individually for those that are
health compromised. For tinctures in alcohol you can boil a teaspoon of
water, put the drops in and the alcohol will evaporate, then mix it with
something tasty or add to recipe serving.

Long term use of some antibiotics, including tetracycline at high doses,
can have an impact on kidney function.

Doxycyclen does not kill bacteria, it merely curtails their ability to
reproduce. For the invading bacteria to be killed, the hose's immune
system must be active and effective. This may not be the best choice
medication for immune compromised patients.
