Hi Yes I knew the hydro-b was stinging him and hurting my little Bandit is why i
dicided to use disatine or vaseline on him instead. as far as him going back no
imnot taking him back, im going to bring him up there to st louis a day earlie for a
vet appt up there with a vet another ferret shelter uses and im going to let them do
whatever it take to get him back on his feet the drs here in Ark i think dont know
half what they are doing. I have took it up on myself to give him laxatone and i put
him on a soft diet til i find out something, when i went and got the papers on
another hospice ferret and Bandit i was bringing up there i saw some stuff on there
that they have all wrong about not only these 2 ferrets but some of the others and
thats why i dont think they know what they are doing.. i have to sit and write out
wish ferret had what done to them and that makesme mad. shoot one time a vet
tech up there gave me the wrong kind of meds and doses to give one ferret and I
almost lost
her. so i relly need to find a good vet even if i have to go to another state.. im sorry
imjust tired with worrie any more and im wondering what to do next. i dont recall
them doing any blood work on Bandit but they did to Airess yesterday and upped
her preds meds cause her blood sugar was 64. so i dont know.. Susan

[Moderator's Note: if you look at past posts of Dr. Bruce Williams you will notice that
laxative is NOT a good thing to give when a ferret has a prolapse. If the intestsines
don't have contents that are firm enough to push on that will cause or worsen a
prolapse. It might be that a second purse string surgery with a firmer diet and no
laxative may work, or a more serious procedure may be needed.]]
