I think it is important that people realize that this sadly is a location where ADV recently arrived, and that anemia was noticed before this worsened.

It is important that people do test periodically for ADV to be safest. We just tested all of our crew this month and everyone is fine.

ADV is Aleutian Disease, a disease first seen in Aleutian-coat mink. The disease itself is not really the problem. The problem is that it causes some types of dangerous over-responses of the immune system.
