Subject: Update on Reno

I wanted to update everyone on Reno's condition.

We finally got the final pathology back on Reno last Monday, and as near as
we could figure, he does have both IBD and Helicobacter.

He is currently on .50cc Biaxin, twice daily and .30cc Prednisolone, twice
daily.

Last Sunday, he started vomiting again, so we contacted the vet Monday and
let him know that we needed to get Reno started on his medication to help
alleviate this problem. He has been on the medications for almost a week, and is
slowly showing signs of improvement.

He turned into our eating machine on Thursday, so much so, he was begging
for food, any kind of food, so needless to say, he is back on dry kibble (his
choice). Prior to that, he was getting 45cc of AD and chicken broth every 3
hours.

Hopefully now that he is feeling better and eating on his own, he will
regain the almost 1 pound he lost over the last 2 months. He will be on these
medications for at least 10 weeks. I'll keep everyone posted on him as time goes
by. Thanks to all those that took the time to response to my requests for
imformation.
