I am posting this for a friend of mine. She is in need of prayers for a few of
her babies.....First lets start with Skywalker.....9 days ago he stopped acting
like himself not eating andtaking 15 mins to gotot he bathroom....he would
colapse in the litter pan...he was rushed to the vet and was being treated for
dehydration...did not get better rushed to the ER did abit better but was told
to go to their vet in the morning....she took him to the other vet of hers(not
the first one she went too) and they did a barium swallow and found 2 hair
balls....both were moving so tons of laxitone and ducksoup.....went downhill
overnight ran back tot he vet did an exploritory surgery and found 1
hairball(other had already passed), his left adrenal was removed, 1 hairball,
and he had adhesions(sp) for the spleen and stomach due to paratinitis(had that
at age 6 weeks when shipped from the farm, possible Triple F or Pathvalley via
Animals Ect.) there were also a few strictures on the intestines and anus. He
was doing better as of the last time I talked to her. He is 26 months old. ]
The second one that is really sick is a Triple F 18 month old. His name is
Wookie. He started showing signs of an ulser a few days ago and was treated for
it.....he really started to go down hill so taken to the vets for blood work and
exam started out as a bleeding ulser has turned into hemolytic anemia. I went
to her house yesterday to help unload from a vet trip(sick visits, hospital pick
upand well check) she was giving him his meds when we found a lump the size of a
golf ball on his neck and it kept getting larger. Called the vet and was told
to put pressure with warm compress(this is where they drew blood from) Each
time they drew blood or tried to give subq fluids he would bleed out.......he
has been dx with hemolytic anemia.....she was wondering if anyone has had to
deal with this and what were the outcomes.
