my ferret is 8.5 yrs. old. She has adrenal dz. and insuloma. Being treated with lupron, diaoxide, and prednisone.

For the past 4-5 months i have been nursing her with smallfeedings of bob church gravy and she has been on amoxi several times for bacteria infection, helibactor. She has greatly improved and now eats her food on her own, less feedings, and no more stomach discomfort symtoms.

In the meantime she has missed her 4mon depot lupron shot. I was planning on getting it now but over the past week she has lost control of her rear legs. Does not seem to be coming from the hip area as much as the ankles give out. It started out as just one side the toes curling under and she seemed to be walking on her knuckles. She is surprisingly bright and alert and still wants to get up and go. First time in months she has had no stomach discomfort. Her legs just get tangled and won't coordinate and she falls to her side. It is not the type of hind leg weakness you would see with low sugar.

We worked hard to get her thru the GI tract infection. What could be going on now? Would her lupron shot help?

Thanks ahead of time for any help
