We did not encounter any improvement that lasted longer than a few weeks with pumpkin, but the ferrets of others have, some long term. I can not recall how much we gave but I think we found the amount in the FHL Archives.
First things first, though: vet care that is needed to try to find out if the cause may be something else can be done at the same time as a diet change to eliminate possible dietary causes of reactions.
