z/d is NOT a/d. They are two different prescription diets which vets provide.
How to tell if there may be orther foods to which the ferret reacts: same procedure as with the chicken if the loose stools continue, or do it is reverse by finding a food to which the ferret doesn't seem to react and then trying introductions of other foods to see what causes problems.

Prednisolone and Prednsione are steroids and used for a range of medical problems. They can increase blood glucose levels. They help reduce lymphoma problems. They reduce immune system response so they are helpful in the inflammation reduction which is needed for a number of immune disorders that ferrets can get.
